If you’re a beginner, check out the Miscellaneous category. It includes How to Make a Hoop as well as Hand Positions.

Hand positions are the secret to the world of hooping.  Whether you are a beginner or advanced hooper, the videos on hand position are the most important ones.   If you use them, you will find that your hooping will improve dramatically.  I will continue to post tutorials on hand positions as well as including them in the other tutorials.  They will help you keep the hoop in plane so it doesn’t go wonky on you.

The Hand Positions Tutorial is under construction.  Coming soon  …  New Improved Hand Positions.

If you are a beginner or if you have osteoporosis, there is a new 5 part series of leg hooping tutorials called the Twin Revolving Door. It includes lots of hoop exercises to help with balance and leg strength.  This series culminates in learning the Twin Revolving Door.

I have fallen in love with your hooping skills. Your story is very inspiring as well. I have started a hooping group here in Lincoln, NE and want to learn more from you on weaves as well as your teaching ability. You are very talented and I am excited to learn more; Performing is a dream of mine that I hope to someday take part in !

Pam says:

Thank you for your comments. How exciting to start a new group! Hooping is always more fun with other hoopers. If you have any questions or requests for tutorials that are not on my website, let me know, and I will make videos for your requests. I’m so happy to have you on board :)
